An aspiring UX Designer

First Year BA Digital Media student at University of Leeds

Kelly Wu believes in the presence of both functionailty and practicality. Design is made with intelligence for the human eye, connecting those across various forms of art. It's ability is endless, and has the power to bridge all forms of media to influence public opinion. She aims to utilize it to bring attention to social injustice, as well as to capture human emotions through visual semantics.

Regardless of simplicity or complexity, its significance is what matters.

“The construction of art in various forms stimulates admiration for the concept of difference in perspective. By this, the interpretation of the art form creates deeper meanings as to what is important, establishing new theories which can be compared to the intended meanings that are emplaced by the artist themselves. This builds the engagement between the creator and the audience where it gives different identities to these pieces, generating different personas.”
